The gang hits BT!

Hey... This time, finally got the guys to come BT with me... I was trail guide that day, and damn was it wet! But isn't it great to have mud splashing onto your face when your tearing through the trail? LOL...

This is Dean wearing my helmet, and his tankee googles. He needs a full-face to go with the goggles!

Near the start of the trail, Ivan fell when trying to clear a drop-off from a pipe... I was damn worried that it was severe, because he had trouble dis-mounting from his bike for sometime... He smacked his right knee into the frame, and from the look of it, I could tell it was really excruciating... My bad man... I should have warned you of the pipe earlier.


























The guys were really shagged out by the time we got to the stairway to heaven (lol what a name i made up...)









The guys thought I was crazy to do 3 laps in a day... but really that's because they only went there for the first time. I also felt very drained when I hit BT the first few times.

All in all, it was a really fun day, I always enjoy riding with the guys. Hope we can do BT again soon...

One With Nature

See how dirty my lover and me got after doing 3 laps at BT... Im happy that after some time, I have begun to develop my mountain biking skills.

Im seeing improvement in my climbing, which I thought was really hard at BT, but actually I was climbing with a wrong body position. My butt was seated, which was causing more weight to be on the rear wheels. I was very worried that the rear would lose traction without more weight at the rear. This caused me to have a really light front, and frequently lose control when trying to negotiate an ideal line of attack. I eventually found an optimum climbing position for me, which is to hover above the seat, lean slightly forward. Only when I need a last burst of fire to conquer a steep uphill then I will throw my body forward.

I absolutely love doing the trail at BT. I love the feeling of conquering the steep uphills, and being able to take a smooth quick line on the downhills.

Now I gotta show some love to my bike... its still waiting for a shower!
